Acoustic Solutions with Advanced Foam & Composite Materials

WTEC delivers precision-engineered foam and specialized substrates designed to address the evolving performance demands of the acoustic industry. WTEC materials are trusted by manufacturers of architectural soundproofing systems, audio equipment, vehicle cabin interiors, and industrial noise control applications for their functional integrity, comfort, and compliance with global standards.

Description

WTEC automotive-grade materials are trusted for use in:

  • Sound Absorption & Damping: Minimizes airborne noise, mechanical vibration, and acoustic reflection
  • Thermal & Flame Resistance: Enhances safety in enclosed spaces exposed to heat or fire risk
  • Environmental Sealing: Protects enclosures from dust, moisture, and ambient interference
  • Comfort Layering: Adds tactile softness in interior trim, headliners, and acoustic panels
  • Assembly Support & Lamination: Streamlines component integration for efficient production workflows

Foam & Composite Versatility in Acoustic Engineering

To support diverse acoustic design requirements, we offer a wide spectrum of foam and substrate materials:

  • Flexible Polyurethane (PU) Foam and Semi-Rigid PU Foam: Effective for general-purpose acoustic insulation and comfort layering in interior spaces
  • Rebond Foam: Ideal for heavy-duty sound dampening and structural support beneath floor panels and wall lining systems
  • Reticulated Foam: Facilitates airflow and sound diffusion in ventilation-integrated acoustic modules
  • Graphite Foam: Adds flame retardancy and thermal insulation in high-risk acoustic enclosures
  • Melamine Foam: Ultra-lightweight solution for broadband sound absorption across ceilings and wall treatments
  • Polyethylene (PE) & EVA Foam: Used for vibration damping and impact absorption behind decorative acoustic surfaces
  • EPDM, CR, and NBR Foams: Provide resilient sealing and noise barrier properties in external housings and moving components

We support custom thickness, densities, perforation patterns, and fire-retardant or ESD-rated options to comply with industry benchmarks such as ASTM, ISO, and RoHS directives.
