Construction Foams & Tapes

The construction industry demands materials that deliver performance, durability, and compliance with evolving building standards. WTEC offers a comprehensive range of foam, sponge, and specialty materials engineered to support modern construction practices—from structural sealing and insulation to acoustic control and interior finishing.

Description

  • WTEC’s portfolio includes high-performance materials designed to meet the diverse needs of contractors, architects, and system integrators:

🔹 Flexible Polyurethane Foam (PU)

  • Used in thermal and acoustic insulation for walls, ceilings, and HVAC systems.
  • Offers excellent compressibility and resilience for cushioning and sealing applications.

🔹 Polyurethane Semi-Rigid Foam

  • Ideal for structural reinforcement and energy-absorbing panels.
  • Balances rigidity with flexibility for use in prefabricated panels and modular systems.

🔹 Rebond Foam

  • High-density foam used in flooring underlays, vibration isolation pads, and impact zones.
  • Provides durability and shock absorption in high-traffic or load-bearing areas.

🔹 Reticulated Foam

  • Open-cell structure supports air and fluid filtration in HVAC and drainage systems.
  • Also used in acoustic panels for sound diffusion and absorption.

🔹 Graphite Foam

  • Fire-retardant insulation for high-risk zones such as mechanical rooms and fire-rated assemblies.

🔹 Melamine Foam

  • Excellent sound absorption and fire resistance.
  • Commonly used in acoustic ceiling tiles, wall panels, and duct insulation.

🔹 Polyethylene Foam (PE)

  • Closed-cell foam for moisture barriers, pipe insulation, and expansion joint fillers.
  • Offers chemical resistance and thermal insulation in roofing and flooring systems.

🔹 Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Foam (EVA)

  • Flexible and resilient foam for joint fillers, vibration dampers, and sealing gaskets.
  • UV- and weather-resistant for both interior and exterior applications.

🔹 Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Foam (EPDM)

  • Weatherproof sealing in windows, doors, curtain walls, and façade systems.
  • Excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and temperature extremes.

🔹 Chloroprene Rubber Foam (CR)

  • Used in gaskets and seals exposed to weather, oil, and mechanical stress.
  • Ideal for HVAC enclosures and mechanical joints.

🔹 Nitrile Foam (NBR)

  • Oil- and fuel-resistant foam for sealing and insulation in utility and mechanical rooms.
  • Maintains flexibility and sealing performance in harsh environments.

🔹 PU Foam Backing Rod

  • Pre-filler for expansion joints in concrete, masonry, and façade systems.
  • Controls sealant depth, prevents three-sided adhesion, and supports joint movement.

🔹 Double-Sided Tape (DST)

  • Provides secure bonding of insulation, trims, and decorative panels.
  • Clean, efficient alternative to mechanical fasteners in interior installations.

🔹 Felt

  • Acoustic underlayment and surface protection in flooring and wall systems.
  • Also used for vibration damping and thermal buffering.

Material Versatility in Automotive

WTEC offers tailored solutions with custom thicknesses, densities, and lamination options to meet project-specific requirements. All materials are available in compliance with international construction standards such as ASTM, ISO, and LEED.
